GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
These General Terms & Conditions of Travel are intended to govern the contractual relationship between you and ourselves.
We offer you a carefully considered selection of travel services, we will be happy to advice you when selecting specific services and arrange or organize them for you to the highest standard.
We strongly believe in responsible and sustainable practices in everything we do.Sustainability starts with a company’s value system and a principled approach to doing business. This means operating in ways that, at a minimum, meet fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
Our consultancy services
We will process your email request from within two working days. We will be happy to compile your desired travel services in form of an individual proposal (itinerary/program/fact sheet).
In order to compile the proposal and promptly share information on your inquiries or desires we will require all the needed information of the travel (# of pax, places to visit, dates…) Please note that by this time our proposal is still non-binding (services and costs are subject to change). The proposal can only be confirmed by your subsequent email approving the itinerary and the first deposit payment on the date required.
Travel Program and Services
The scope of the services contractually agreed are the set out in the offer itself and in further information enclosed (if so) with the confirmation of travel. However, we reserve the right to change our offer before the contract is finalized for reasons, which are justified, substantial and no foreseeable. Of course we shall inform you of any such changes before final travel arrangements are reserved.
Not included in the price
In general, service that is not indicated as included. VISAS, COUNTRY ENTRANCE TAXES, GRATUITIES, extras in the hotels or for the most part drinks during meals. Usually the gratuities, ranging from 10 to 15% are not included.
All listed are subject to 7% tax. Food and beverages are subject to 17% tax.
Single passenger traveling
Single passengers pay based on a minimum of two passengers.
You will receive your travel documents such as vouchers and flight tickets, etc. prior to departure or your arrival and in due time as soon as we received your deposit. Unless cash payment prior to departure or payment at another time have been agreed upon.
Tour Operator Liability
We will be responsible for making the travel arrangements conscientiously, selecting and monitoring other services providers carefullyand rendering the services agreed in the program accepted. Please note that we cannot be held liable for claims made in brochures published by hotels, local tourist information offices or any other authorities.
Conditions of payments
Together with the travel confirmation, Arian’s Tours will send you an invoice of the total price including the request to pay a certain amount as a deposit within a certain period of time and the due date for the remaining amount prior to departure.
For credit cards payments we reserve the right to add a (service) surcharge of up to 5%. However, some journeys cannot be paid by credit card. We will be happy to inform you about such individual cases.
Arian’s Tours reservesthe right to raise the agreed price in the following cases: Changes in tariff of transportation companies (fuel surcharges), new or raised taxes or public fees, change in exchange rates with suppliers.
Withdrawals from agreed travel services are subject to the terms and conditions of relevant supplier.
The following cancellation terms apply to withdrawals from contractual services of Arian’s Tours, we will refund specific rates of total prices of travel services, provided that the relevant service provider releases us from arisingexpenses, and the journey is cancelled prior to departure.
Refunds are calculated as follow:
45 days prior up to 80%
30 days prior up to 50%
21 days prior up to 30%
7 days prior up to 10%
There will be no refund on NO-SHOW (failing to arrive at booked accommodation) or premature departure from the booked accommodation.
Exclusion of claim
Claims on account of non-contractual travel performance can be submitted to us up to one month after the contractual end of travel. Once that deadline has expired, claims will only be accepted if you were hindered from adhering to that deadline through no fault of your own.
Warranty / Redress and your duty to assist
If travel services are not rendered as contractually agreed, you have a right to demand redress. Please contact us immediately. You can phone to Arian’s Tours office at (00507) 213-1172 or 213-1173 from Monday to Friday 9.00h to 17.00h or via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org(General Manager). On the other hand, we can refuse to offer redress if the outlay required were disproportionate.
