Reef Snorkeling Day Tour

Highlights:

  • The tour is dependent on weather conditions.
  • Our first stop is Dolphin Bay close to Isla Cristobal to see bottlenose dolphins in their natural environment.
  • Heading towards Crawl Cay for our first snorkeling session during which we can see the coral reef with its tropical fish, sponges, crabs, lobster and shrimp, before having a quick lunch (not included) in a close by restaurant.
  • Entering Bastimentos National Marine Park for a beach excursion on the Zapatilla Cays.
  • Stopping on Isla Solarte where you can snorkel along the vertical reef known as Hospital Point

Coral Cay & Zapatilla Cays

Highlights:

  • The tour is dependent on weather conditions.
  • Our first stop is Dolphin Bay close to Isla Cristobal to see bottlenose dolphins in their natural environment.
  • Heading towards Crawl Cay for a quick lunch (not included) in a close by restaurant.
  • Entering Bastimentos National Marine Park for a beach excursion on the Zapatilla Cays

Bird Island & Starfish Beach

Highlights:

  • The tour is dependent on weather conditions.
  • Heading towards Bird Island, also known as Swan Cay, an uninhabited island which is a nesting site for frigates, terns and red footed boobies.
  • The island is a protected area hence we cannot go ashore but will still enjoy a great view of the bird population from the boat.
  • Snorkeling along the beautiful reefs surrounding the island and see angel fish, parrot fish and butterfly fish.
  • Continuing to Boca del Drago and Starfish Beach for lunch (not included) and a quick break.
  • Cruising Isla Colon and arriving at Punta Manglar to explore another reef where you can find spotted eagle rays, snappers and spadefish

Dolphin Bay & Red Frog Beach

Highlights:

  • Boat trip to Dolphin Bay by Isla Cristobal, where you can watch bottlenose dolphins in their natural environment.
  • Continuing to Isla Bastimentos and Red Frog Beach where it is not unusual to see monkeys, sloths and the famous red frogs.
  • Walking through the jungle, where the air filled with the scent of Bayrum trees, you can enjoy relaxing on the beach or having a refreshing swim in the ocean

Popa Island & Bastimentos

Highlights:

  • Departing towards Popa Island where we arrive at a small port of the Naso tribe, one of the smallest indigenous groups of Central America.
  • You will learn about the tribe’s history, pre-dating the Spanish colonization, and explore the rainforest and its species of plants and animals, some of which can only be found in this part of the world.
  • Enjoy the benefits of the conservation and protection of rainforests and local culture that allows indigenous tribes to preserve their traditional lifestyle

Scuba Diving Day Tour

Highlights:

  • Bocas offers 15 amazing scuba diving locations and new ones are discovered regularly.
  • Your dive master will hand pick the best location for your diving experience based on your wishes and weather conditions.
  • One of the most fascinating dives around is at the so called Hospital Point where after a short swim from the shore a vertical wall of coral drops down in front of you.
  • Enjoy this outstandingly colorful experience in midst of a huge variety of fish, coral and sponges and a dramatic underwater landscape

Kayak Rentals

Highlights:

  • Kayaks rental for a full or half day or based on an hourly rate, include paddles and are available as singles or doubles.
  • Several popular destinations such as Hospital Point and Bastimentos can be reached in 30 minutes leaving from Bocas del Toro.
  • Another great option is to just paddle along the islands’ shores and explore natural wonders like the mangrove forest along the southern part of Bastimentos Island

Water Skiing

Highlights:

  • A powerful 25ft. boat, strong enough to handle several skiers, will take you out to some of the nicest water skiing spots around.
  • The region offers areas well protected from wind and strong currents that allow for an enjoyable water skiing experience on a smooth water surface.
  • Boat rentals usually go by the hour, though rentals can be made for a full or half day if necessary

Colon Island Tour

Highlights:

  • Enjoy a guided tour on a local bus that takes you around Colon Island to CEFATI, a site where all available information on Bocas del Toro and its surroundings has been carried together, and to the beach of Boca del Drago which is a lovely place for swimming and snorkeling
