DAY ONE

Panama City – Arrival

Upon arrival, you will be met by an Arians Tours representative and transferred to the Hotel. If you arrive in the morning, early check-in can be requested, however, cannot be guaranteed. If arrival is early in the morning, you can choose some tour options available.

Included:Transfer from PTY International airport to your hotel, three nights accommodation at Continental Hotel or similar on a bed and breakfast basis. Included are all activities as specified in your itinerary.

Exclude: Lunch and dinner not specified as well as any additional purchases or services utilized at the hotel or optional tours.

Expert tips: This hotel is situated ideally in the center of Panama City, close to restaurants, casino and malls. A metro station nearby to take you to places avoiding traffic. This hotel offers new and modern rooms to meet the desires and new demands of travelers.

DAY two

Embera indigenous community and Jungle Land Wildlife

Depart for a one-hour trip towards Lake Alajuela in the Chagres National Park. Take a motorized canoe will take you up the Chagres River to the indigenous community of Emberá indigenous community. Learn about the locals’ lifestyle and visit to the river falls near the community. A typical lunch made up of fried fish and plantain served on a banana leaf will be served at the community while a local resident gives an account of Emberá culture and history as well as introducing you to the materials and techniques used to manufacture their traditional artisan products. After lunch you will enjoy a performance of folkloric music and dance.

Transfer to Gamboa public dock to board the motorized boat that will take you to the floating lodge in the middle of Gatun Lake, you will engage in the natural environment while the trip across Gatun Lake permits you to navigate the boat alongside the gigantic cruise ships and freighters transiting the Canal.If you are brave enough, at night you will go on an adventure in search of crocodiles, bats and other nocturnal animals.

Included:activities, entrance fees, soft drinks, local lunch and dinner at the lodge. Activities like kayaking, fishing, SUP, hiking at the lodge.

Expert tips: You will have the chance to purchase handcrafted art such as baskets made of fibers from the Chunga and Naguala palm trees and items carved out of Cocobolo wood or Tagua.

DAY Three

Jungle Experience

You will embark on an adventurous boat trip through the rainforest surrounded by exotic tropical vegetation and wildlife. On this tour you can observe a variety of marine and terrestrial bird species, sloths, monkeys, iguanas and crocodiles Also you can take part in numerous activities such as fishing, swimming, kayaking and hiking. Late afternoon transfer back to Panama City.

Included:activities at the lodge (kayak, fishing, SUP, hiking, swimming), all beverages, breakfast and lunch.

DAY Four

San Blas island and indigenous group

The road takes us on a scenic trip along the continental divide, dense rainforest to Cartí from where a motorized canoe will take you to Guanidup, you can make a visit to an indigenous community, that afternoon. (Note: there is an entrance fee of $22.00 to pay per person when entering the territory of San Blas)

Learn about how the Guna people live and witness how well they have preserved their culture, customs and traditions despite of colonization and modern civilization today. Tour different islands where you can enjoy swimming in crystalline waters of the Caribbean, or just relax on the beautiful white sand beach. At Guanidup Lodge you will spend the night, where you can fully enjoy the Caribbean atmosphere, which makes San Blas such a special place.

DAY Five

Caribbean Style at San Blas

After breakfast, you can continue to enjoy the beauty of the area and enjoy the hospitality of the Guna people. Beaches of white sand, an impressive marine fauna and the wonderful coral reefs that invite you to investigate what you might have missed the day before. After your lunch, you will be transferred to Cartí to return to Panama City.

DAY Six

Metropolitan Park and Miraflores Locks

Visit Metropolitan Park. La Cieneguita Trailis our first trail which, was established in 1987, it starts in the security station at the beginning of the Mono Titi Road and it extends through the forest. Is a lineal trail that presents an extension of 1.1 km, and an approximate altitude of 102 meters above sea level.  “Sendero La Cieneguita”, its name is due to the marsh in the entrance of the trail that is formed during the rainy season. Approximate duration to hike this trail is of two hours.  We recommend ¡Silence! When walking this trail, have your ears and eyes open and be aware of any movement on the canopy of the trees to enjoy the fauna that lives in the Metropolitan Natural Park.

Visit the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal where you might have the opportunity to witness the raising or lowering of a ship as it passes through this impressive engineering feat completed in 1914. The Miraflores Visitors Center also contains a Canal Museum which holds information on its history from the first construction efforts by the French to its new expansion.

DAY Seven

Transfer Out

Transfer to PTY International Airport. End of Itinerary
