In the early morning hours you are most likely to spot the famous Quetzal flying about in its natural environment while making your way uphill to «Mirador La Roca» at an altitude of 3100 MASL to take a break and have a snack at the trails highest point about half way through it.
  • Continue towards El Respingo Ranger Station in Cerro Punta where the trail ends and you will be picked up
